Chalet "Les Chouettes" is a large wooden chalet built in the traditional Savoyard alpine style with a separate apartment comprising most of the lower level. It is situated 1.5 kilometres from the centre of La Clusaz, one of the few truly picturesque alpine villages in France. The chalet is situated in the chemin du Batieu a quiet cul de sac of mainly owner-occupied homes. Strict planning regulations ensure that the all the homes in the area are constructed in a traditional style. From both the chalet and the apartment there are spectacular views of the col des Aravis, of the mountains of l’Etale and l’Aiguille and of the forest of the Beauregard plateau.
